All lenders we approach on your behalf have their own Privacy Policies which are designed to offer you the protection required by law and we anticipate that each lender we approach will provide you with a copy of or access to its Privacy Notice.

As part of your application for credit, potential lenders may search the files held by credit reference agencies; Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion (or any other credit reference or fraud prevention agency that they may use from time to time). For the purposes of credit checks, fraud prevention and credit risk reduction. When reviewing your record at a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, the agency will add to the record of the person searched, details of the search and the application and this will be seen by other organisations that make searches. Potential lenders may also search the record of any person financially associated with an applicant, borrower, lessee, or account holders.
